Happy New Year everyone!
I'm still in Thailand and about to make the trek from the holiday isle of Koh Samui back up to Bangkok by bus, ferry, train, and tuk tuk before flying back to London.
It's been an interesting three weeks in the (sometimes) sun.
Let me explain ...
The flight out was really fun - I got a free backpack and when we stopped off at Doha I got to play in an amazing kids play area.
This kept mummy and daddy happy as unfortunately they were both very sick for the plane journey - and most of the the first week of our hols :-(
We stayed in Lamai on Koh Samui first of all, at The Spa where Uncle Andre and Aunty Vicky were holidaying. It was nice to see them but we were still a bit sick. I even had to go to hospital myself, my cough was so bad. No fun.

We had Christmas Day at The Spa (hurrah, Santa found me) and on Boxing Day moved to the north of the island to Bo Phut. It was very quiet and expensive up there but we needed to get a bigger base as Aunty Claire was arriving from Sydney.
It was good to see her - I wasn't very shy at all and remembered her from her photos.
By this time we were feeling better so we hired a jeep and went off a did lots of cool things. We trekked to a waterfall (remember never to climb down a hillside in croc shoes), went to a butterfly farm
which was great, and I got to ride on an elephant through the jungle with Aunty Claire.
I loved it! I sang 'Nelly The Elephant' all the way round, but I think Aunty Claire was worried we might fall off like the man 'steering' the elephant did. She was holding onto me very tightly! And I got to give the elephants some bananas afterwards.

Hola peeps,
So very sorry for the sporadic way I am updating this at the moment. Mummy is studying full-time, Daddy is working full-time and we are a very busy family these days.
Anyway - we're all well in very coldy and snowy Devon. Thank goodness for my lovely new winter coat that Aunty M bought me as an early Christmas pressie. Here I am posing in it:

Those eagle eyes amongst you will notice it is a Dora The Explorer coat. She is my absolute favourite TV star and i love her. So I am of course wearing my coat with everything. EVERYWHERE!
I had a great Halloween and Bonfire Night in late October and early November. Mummy, Daddy and I carved out a pumpkin for the window, and we had a Halloween party and my friend Sammy's house. He was quite frightened by all the skeletons and scary stuff but I loved it. SO much fun.
As always, I have some more big news. Mummy, Daddy and I are going on an adventure this Christmas ... to Thailand. I really hope Santa can find me.
We are flying to Bangkok (so glad the blockade protest is over) via Doha in the United Arab Emirated. From Bangers, we're taking the overnight train south so we can catch a ferry to an island called Koh Samui.
There we're going to meet up with Uncle Andre and Aunty Vicky from Hong Kong, which will be great. I know I only saw them in September at their wedding, but they were kinda busy. I am looking forward to playing with them at the beach. Look, I'm getting ready for the beach now ...

I think they are leaving just before Christmas, and then we're going to Koh Phangan island until the new year. Aunty Claire is going to join us on Boxing Day from Australia which will be lots of fun, too. We are all looking forward to it.
We're heading to Nottingham to Uncle Lenny's house next weekend for a 'Lenny Christmas' so we can all exchange gifts and eat lots of things we shouldn't do. I'm really looking forward to that - Uncle Lenny is lots of fun.
So that's my big news. In other news, Sammy and I have been told off for French Kissing in the supermarket trolley. We just think it is funny - everyone freaks out when we do it - haha.
So, I'll make sure you have Christmas/New Year photos and updates I promise. I think Auntry Claire might help me with the photos - she's like the paparazzi when I'm around.
Merry Christmas everyone,

The wedding pictures ...
Hi everyone,
So i took a little longer than I'd hoped to get these pictures to you - mainly because we were so busy in the lead-up to the wedding that mummy and daddy forgot our camera. So we had to wait for other people's photos :-(
Anyway, here's the three of us in all our glory. Check me out - dressed head to toe in Marks and Spencer's finest.

Although I did lose the look a little later when I spent the afternoon sliding down the hill on my bum. The grass stains are still coming out!
We had a lovely few days of wedding celebrations and it was great to see my Uncle Andre and my new Aunty Vicky. I also got to meet Aunty Michelle and Uncle Doug from America. I liked them very much. Just Aunty Nicole, Uncle Paul and cousin Maggie to go and I'll have met all the family.

Life has been very hectic with mummy back at university but she's really enjoying it and she brings me books from the library every time she goes, which I love. I ADORE books.
I'm talking away like a little parrot these days - and I've started shouting out 'I've lost my mum' when I am out in public which I know is a bit naughty but keeps me amused. I have also started pretending I am stuck when I am out with the dogs (and in bed) and shout 'Help, I'm stuck! I need a rope'.
I have been warned about the little boy who cried wolf so I will make sure I just use it for comedy effect rather than to panic people.
Anyway, I'll upload some more photos when we get them - hope these do you for now.
Trust life is well with you all.

It's been a long time ...
Hi all,
Sincere apologies for the length of time taken to update this blog. Life has been so hectic in the last month or so and I have no idea where the time goes.
Summer in the UK was a bit of a wash-out weatherwise this year. This meant Mummy and Daddy weren't at work as much as they had planned to, but it also meant that I got to hang out with them more.

We spent lots of time at the beach (just trying to wear me out) and I have had lots of playdates with my friends. It has been lots of fun.
I had one of my first big impact tantrums at Tescos a few weeks back - I wanted some new wellies, picked them out, held them and when it came time to pay for them I wouldn't give them to the lady behind the counter. Mummy said if I didn't hand them over she wouldn't buy them. I refused and she kept her side of the bargain :-(
But I did learn that I have to do as Mummy and Daddy say and when they took me shopping the next week I sat in the trolley with the things I wanted and kept saying 'I have to give it to the lady, I have to give it to the lady' all the way around. I gave the things to the lady and it worked! So, a lesson learned there!

Uncle Lenny and Aunty Michelle popped down to Devon a few times this summer, as did Aunty M. But I guess the big arrivals were my Paps and his friend Maria from Spain. They came to stay for a few days at the end of August, which gave me a chance to catch up on my Spanish and show Paps what a big girl I am now.

And equally big news is that my Uncle Andre, Daddy's twin brother, is over from Hong Kong at the moment as he is getting married TOMORROW in Devon. I am very much looking forward to the wedding - Daddy is best man and some other aunts and uncles of mine are coming over from California and I have NEVER met them before so I am looking forward to that.
I am looking forward to the reception afterwards too - I love a good dance.
I will makre sure I post pictures of the wedding in the next few days - cross my heart.
Hope this finds you well.
Much love,

Having a lovely summer ...

Hi all,
Hope you're having a lovely summer (or winter) wherever you are. It's been feeling a bit like winter in blustery Devon this last few weeks, but I've still been having lots of fun!
The birthday extravaganza continued for a while after the actual event - I had a lovely party and continued to be spoiled when Uncle Lenny and Aunty Michelle came down to deliver my playhouse that Mummy and Daddy had bought for me but hadn't been able to transport.
I had a lovely time with them and had Uncle Lenny running a round like a looney after me.
He helped Daddy to build my playhouse which I absolutely adore. I am always outside now playing with the shutters on the window, and making butterfly spaghetti for my toys (it's yum - they love it).
I am even taking my daytime meals out there - it's a great spot!

I'm still loving being in a big girl's bed and I spend an hour each night before I fall asleep singing to myself - 'The Hokey Cokey' and 'Old McDonald (Eeey aye oh)' are my favourites - I'll sing them for anyone.
The other thing I've started insisting on is hand-socks. No, I don't mean gloves or mittens (which I will not keep on) but socks for my hands. I won't leave home without them and try to do as much as possible with socks on my hands. I have 'Dora' and 'Iggle Piggle' socks so atleast I have something fun to look at :-)
Anyway, that's it from me for now. It sounds like Paps and Maria are going to be in London next month so I am hoping to say 'Hola!' to them in person. Maybe I can persuade him to take me to the zoo ....

Happy birthday to me...

Hi all,
My first big shout-out since I turned two earlier today.
I've been a little bit overwhelmed and over-stimulated by all the amazing pressies I have been sent - thanks so much everyone!
It took me an hour to get to sleep tonight, I was so hyper. I had to sing every song I new before I would shut my eyes.
Anyway my party is Saturday so I'll post some more pics and the low-down of who was there, who kissed who and who ended up having a jelly fight then.

Nearly two ... can you believe it!

Hi everyone,
Sorry for not updating this for a while. I've just been so busy having fun.
I went to my first DISCO a couple of weeks ago. It was for a friend of mine, Ryan.
We had a great time - I danced my socks off and I loved playing with all the balloons and bubbles.
I have started going to a new baby group - although I'm not really a baby anymore - in the village here at home. I can start going every morning without mummy or daddy so they will get a break and I will get to play my pants off with all the other children. I am looking forward to going back there.
I have been singing lots too. Obviously I have my nursery rhyme classes to help me along but my favourite songs at the mo are 'The Whole World in his Hands', 'Incy Wincy Spider', 'Old MacDonald Had a Farm (I LOVE shouting the Ei, Ei, Oh bit), 'The Hokey Cokey' and 'I'm a Dingle Dangle Scarecrow'. I love to sing them all to anyone who will listen.

I am now in a big girl's bed and loving all the space. I have all my favourite toys with me and I am really good at staying in bed until Mummy or Daddy come to get me up.
I did fall out of it the other night but I didn't even wake up. Daddy popped me back in and I was still sound asleep.
I went on my first bouncy castle the other day - it was the best fun! I also went on my friend's trampoline (which I like to call Lampoline) and got really dizzy and disorientated by running in a circle AND jumping at the same time. It was fun but I was EXHAUSTED afterwards.
My favourite things at the moment are still Dora the Explorer and butterflies. Rumour has it Mummy is going to try a butterfly cake for my birthday party this weekend. Aunty Bo made Aunty Claire one for her birthday this week so we're hoping for the same result.
Anyway, I'll post some photos of my birthday party here so you can see what I got up to.

Lovely summer days out ...

Hello everyone!
Hope life is treating you well.
I've been having lots of fun in the last few weeks. The main news is that Daddy came home. I am so pleased to have him and mummy back together - I missed being able to swing between their arms!
I've been hanging out with him lots - he took me to my swimming class this week and to my singing baby group. I love my Daddy.

Mummy and I went to a butterfly farm a couple of weeks ago, which was great. I love butterflies and had an absolute ball. We also visited an Otter sanctuary which was great - i kept shouting hello to them when they came out of the water.
This week Mummy, Daddy and I went to Big Sheep, a theme park here in North Devon. It's very farm-oriented and I saw such big sheep. I also had my first proper horse ride.

It was such a fun day out and we had a ball.
Life in general is pretty good. Lots of birthday parties and walks with the dog. I'm chattering away more and more these days and am about to start sleeping in a big girl's bed. We got it a few weeks ago and it is set up in my room - i like to have my stories on it after my bath. And I like holding onto the headboard and jumping on it. Haha!
I think Mummy and Daddy are going to put me in it tonight. It has a special side so I can't fall out.
Anyway, I'm off to another birthday party so will sign off for now.

All smiles for my Daddy ...

Hellooooooooooo!
This was me on Saturday - very smiley because Mummy says Daddy is coming home on Thursday after three weeks in America.
I can't wait to see him and give him lots of kisses and cuddles. And show off all my new words.
I've not been very well this week - a combination of a very bad cold and conjunctivitus means I haven't been the best company but I have been pretty well behaved. I'm just tired as my coughing has been waking me up.
I must have been pretty sick - it was my friends Sammy and Daia's birthday party on the weekend and I had to go home after an hour. I just wasn't up to all the crowds. They did have a fantastic bubble machine though :-)
Anyway, gotta run and blow my nose.
I'll be in touch soon with more pics.

Growing up so fast ...
Hi everyone!
Hope you're well - I'm good. Doing lots of swimming at the moment and I can go off with my arm bands on now and kick and splash to my heart's content.
I love it!
I have been playing lots with my friends Sammy and Daia - they're a little bit older than me but I do like to spend time with them as we all learn so much from being around oneanother.
Mummy and I were up in London last week which was fun. I got to see Aunty M and went to a place called Hemel Hempstead where Mummy used to live. It seemed ok. I went to a great indoor play area which was THE BEST but lots of balls from the ball pool were on the path so I spent lots of my time putting them back in. I like to keep things tidy.
I spent an afternoon at a farm last week which was BRILLIANT!! I got to see all the baby horses (I think they're called foals) close up and pat them. I heart animals.
I am also learning to use the toilet - I have a little ladder that helps me get onto the toilet seat. I love hearing my wee wee go into the toilet so hopefully I'll be able to leave nappies behind fairly soon.
Daddy is in America at the moment. He went over to see my Grandpa Otto for a little while and sadly my Grandpa died while Daddy was there.Mummy and I are sad - my Grandpa was lovely and so much fun. We're looking forward to having Daddy home so we can give him lots of cuddles and make him feel better.
I have learned to say 'I love you Daddy' and this has come in quite handy over the last few days.
Anyway, I'll be in touch soon with more pics and hopefully some recent video!

My first hair cut ...

As promised, here are the pics from my first hair cut last week.
It was quite fun and I really liked the animal smock they made me wear.
Mummy and Daddy saved some of my curls, and there was only one near miss when I turned my head as the hairdresser was about to take a snip - I could have lost my ear!!!
But it all turned out well and my fringe is not falling in my eyes anymore.

I'm great with the words now ...

Hi all,
Hope you're all well. I am great - having lots of fun and chattering away now. I've mastered such words as 'Caterpillar' and 'Butterfly' and am totally obsessed with the Dora The Explorer cartoon.
My hair is so long that Mummy has been putting it in bunches. I'm not very good at keeping my bunches in (as you can see by the picture above) but don't I look different with the hair off my face!
I'm actually goign for my first appointment at the hairdressers tomorrow - I think Mummy is going to keep the curls they cut off, and hopefully they'll keep my fringe out of my eyes.

I have been playing with my friends lots and going to baby group, which I still love. The teachers there thanked me for entertaining them and the rest of the class. I can't help it - I just get so excited when we sing 'The Wheels On The Bus' and I have to shake my bum and dance in time to the music.
I've also taught one of the little girls in my group how to spin on the spot - it's so much fun!
I'm still into everything at the moment - I've been switching the washing machine on and off and the heater. Of course I get into trouble because I'm not supposed to touch anything like that so I've started taking my dolls and teddies with me when I'm up to no good and use their hands to do the things I'm not supposed to do. Then I tell them off so they know they're being naughty - how much of a genius am I?
Anyway, other big news is that my Uncle Andre is getting married. Hooray! I am so pleased for him and can't wait to meet Vicky, my aunty-to-be.
Right, I'm off to do some playing.
Talk soon and I'l get some more photos up soon. I'm almost into (birthday) party season so will let you see my outfits.

Un cerveza por favor ...
Helloa again,
Updated pics as promised and my latest news.
We're back in Devon again - it's nice to be back with all my toys and in my bedroom. I forgot how much stuff I have!
The slight back from Spain was great. I get really excited when I go to the airport in Alicante and spend my time squealing at the planes through the huge windows. I'm very lucky to hav been on so may plans already - I am only 21 months old, after all!
I have been trying to practice my words and using them in the right context I think it's called. Anyway the air hostess asked us if we would like a drink and I knew the answer to that and said 'Beer, beer, beer'. Mummy and Daddy were embarrassed and the hostie thought I was very funny.
My favourite toys this week are a plane that makes take-off and landing noises and my circus that Jessie and India sent me for Christmas. They're both great fun.
I'm back at baby group this week, and we're off up to Wales this weekend to collect my doggy Zeus from Uncle Lenny. Life is never dull!

Where I've been ...
Hi everyone,
Sorry for the lack of new posts and pics. We're in Spain at the mo and we can't find the lead to upload the latest pics from the camera.
Anyway, all is well here. I'm enjoying being in Spain and going walking with the dogs every day.
I have been finding lots of new places to play. Paps has a big kennel in the back garden and Mummy cleaned it out for me so i could play in there with my dollies.
I have also started hiding in the kitchen cupboards for fun. It's amazing what you can do to keep yourself entertained.
I have just discovered what pockets are and am driving Mummy mad with all the flowers and snails i keep putting in them.
I am learning new words all the time - when I see Jackson the dog I say 'Doggy! Jackie! Woof Woof'. I am perfecting my horsey noises now, too.
I have been going to the park most days and have met a couple of little Spanish girls. They're a bit like Dora the Explorer - well they speak some of the same words atleast!
Paps is coming home today and we're heading back to Devon on Monday. I have not been home for ages and am looking forward to seeing all my little friends at nuesery. I hope I remember which language I need to speak.
My Daddy was back in America a couple of weeks ago with Grandpa Otto but he joined Mummy and I for our last two weeks in Spain. I really missed him - it's nice when we're all together.
Anyway, once I get home we should be able to get some more up-to-date photos.
Take care and keep in touch,
