My arm is getting better ...

Hi everyone,
Just a note to update you on my broken arm.
It feels fine and most of the time I forget I'm not supposed to use it. I'm still running around like a lunatic and have loved going to the hospital to see all the doctors and nurses. I have had x-rays galore and am onto my third plaster cast but it's not bothering me in the slightest.
There was talk of me needing some surgery to pin it together but it looks like that won't need to happen, which is good.

I hope you've had a lovely Easter weekend. I have - Uncle Lenny and Aunty Michelle came to see me and they brought me my very own arm chair so I can watch my movies in comfort. I love it! And I love them.

I've had my first real injury ...

I was on a bike ride on the Tarka Trail near home yesterday when I fell off my bike onto my shoulder and broke my arm.
I was wearing my helmet and knee and elbow pads AND the bike wasn't moving at the time. It was just a freak fall I guess.
I wasn't in an awful lot of pain and managed to walk the half hour back to the car but when Mummy and Daddy got me home and took my hoodie off my arm was all swollen and bending the wrong way.
So, it was off to hospital for an x-ray and some plaster. I was really good and didn't cry at all - I found it fascinating and am going back next week for a new plaster - I hope they have a pink one for me.
I'm OK so please don't worry - I don't think my career as a professional sportswoman has been compromised just yet xxx

I heart Flapper ...

Uncle Dom and Aunty M have a bird in their apartment that flies around all day.
I lovd it - it was so friendly and liked to sit on my shoulder.
I wish Flapper could come to stay.

I went to see the Queen ...

Mummy had to go to the American Embassy a couple of weeks back to see about a visa as we want to go and see my Aunties and Uncles over there later this year.
The emabassy is London so Mummy, Daddy and I got on a train from Devon to London and stayed with Aunty M for a few days.
I went on the London Underground for the first time and had lots of fun looking around the place that is apparently the capital of the country I was born in and is a city.
I liked it very much - and its always lovely to spend time with Aunty M and Uncle Dom.

To infinity and beyond ...

Like most of the kids on the planet under eight years old, I am bonkers about Toy Story. Santa brought me the first movie on dvd and Aunty Claire sent me the second one and the third one comes out the day before my fourth birtday.
No prizes for guessing what I'll be doing for my birthday party this year.
I love the cowgirl the best (because she's a girl of course) but when we watch it at home I make Mummy and Daddy take parts so we can act it out.
I am that obsessed.
Here's the trailer for the third installment - I can't wait!

Such a pretty girl ...

Mr and Mrs Mummy and Daddy ...

Just two days after Christmas, the celebrations continued as my Mummy and Daddy got married to eachother.
It was lots of fun - I got to walk in front of the bride (mummy) and Paps with Aunty M and Aunty Claire. And I looked beautiful.
It was a really lovely day and I was very happy I got to be there - and was old enough to be able to remember it.
Here's me before the ceremony:

And here we all are after they said 'I do':

It was a fantastic day and I think my Mummy looked so pretty. Daddy looked handsome too xxx

My first ever ice-skating experience ...

What better time to try ice skating than at Christmas? We went for a family day out to Lincoln on Christmas Eve and Mummy and Daddy took me on the ice.
I absolutely loved it and was completely fearless.
It was such a fun thing to do and so Christmassy!

Christmas happy snaps ...

The best Christmas present ever ... from my Paps

Just when I thought I couldn't possibly get any more presents, look what my Paps gave me. I was so excited I gave a big gasp!

Getting ready for Santa .. and wow, he came!

Here's how my stocking looked when I woke up on Christmas morning.
I left Santa a mince pie and some brandy and a carrot for Rudolph. The pie and brandy went but Rudolph only ate half of his carrot. I guess he was too busy!
Anyway, here's how it looked when I got up...

... and here's what happened when I saw all my pressies ...

Skidding on the ice with Mummy and Aunty Michelle ...

First big girl's Christmas

Hi all,
I know its a little while ago but I wanted to tell you all about my fabulous Christmas.
It was at Uncle Lenny's house and he'd been planning it for a year. He and Aunty Michelle had invited Paps and Maria and Aunty Claire and Aunty Bo to come too, and he had lots of things planned for us.
We all stayed at Uncle Lenny's house and then my cousins Kristopher, James and Ben came for a bit too. Even Uncle Andre and Aunty Vicky from Hong Kong made an appearance for a couple of days between Christmas and New Year.
It was busy! But it was soooooooooo fun.

Uncle Lenny took us all to a special grotto to see Santa. I got to chat to him about my Christmas list, he gave me a Dora doll and let me feed his reindeer.

What's going to work? Team work ...

I absolutely love The Wonder Pets and was lucky that Santa brought me the Wonder Pets book I asked him for. Mummy and Daddy also got me the Wonder Pets boat thingy that they all travel around in.
But best of all, Santa brought me a Wonder PEts dvd which I had on all day every day over the Christmas period. I think my Paps, Uncle Lenny, Aunty Bo, Aunty Claire and everyone knows this song off by heart now ...

My stage debut ...

So I learned all about Christmas at school. I learned all about the baby Jesus and how Kings and Shepherds took him gifts.
My school even put on a play to tell the story, and I was given the role as one of the king. I even had a line. I had to say:
"We're bring gifts for the baby Jesus".
I absolutely loved it and managed to say my line without any problems. I think mummy and daddy were worried as in the weeks leading up to the 'show', I kept saying my line like a monster.
There is some video of it - I'm just waiting for mummy to put it on youTube so I can put it on here. I promise it will be soon.

Long time no see

Hey everyone,
I'm so sorry this hasn't ben updated in a while.
It's been fairly hectic in my house recently (all good) but I promise to be more diligent in 2010.
Happy New Year to you all,

I'm an ABBA fan ...

I was taught a new song at school this week. It's really really catchy and easy to learn and I love it. It's called 'Mamma Mia' by a band called ABBA and when I came home singing it, Mummy and Daddy fell about laughing.
They even made me leave a message on Auntry Claire's phone in Australia - it seems she's a big ABBA fan too!

I ♡ dressing up ...

Here I am in two funny outfits.
The first one is a pink feather boa and tiara from mummy's hen party in London in September. I think I look like a real glamourpuss!

The second one was for a birthday party I went to a couple of months back as Ariel from the Little Mermaid. I love that film and I love dressing up as I am sure you have noticed from my posts of late. What can I tell you? I like to keep people smiling!

Happy Halloween!

Trick or treat people!
This is me dressed up for my Halloween party. Mummy says I'm a witches cat but I'm actually Duchess from The Aristocrats. It's one of my favourite movies.
Hope you have a spooky day!

Mud, mud, glorious mud ...

As you'll have seen from my newspaper cover, La Marina was hit by flood when I was there last week.
Once the water had subsided, we set to work trying to help Paps clean his house, but there was so much mud it made it an epic operation. Aunty Claire and I had a messy mud fight.

I tried my hand at mopping but I am only three and the mop was twice the height of me, so I spent lots of time in the garden trying to rescue all the snails who'd bcome displaced during the flood.

I decided the best thing to do would be to keep them in the swimming pool, so I went around the garden gathering them all up.
I also threw a handful in the air while singing 'I believe I can fly' which got a few laughs! I was just trying to cheer people up - everyone seemed so stressed with the clean-up operation. Our hire car was trashed and everything :-(

Here's my Paps and Maria ...

Off on my hols ...

Hi everyone,
Sorry for the lack of updates this summer. Our computer at home was proving very tricky and getting any photos was a challenge. But, here's some updates for you.

Mummy, Daddy and I are just back from two weeks in Spain for Paps' wedding. The plan was to have a bit of a holiday first, but be on hand to help Paps with the last minute plans and running around.
I had lots of fun as always when I go to Spain, but the weather wasn't very good. Just like being at home but without my dvds!

Uncle Lenny, Aunty Michelle and Aunty Claire all came too, so it was nice to be together. I had so many people to play with I didn't know who to turn to!

The wedding was lovely - the Spanish are so noisy and I had a ball shouting, clapping and generally having fun. It was a late night for me too - I managed to stay awake until 1am before falling alseep at the disco part of the night!

I'm a cover girl ...

Here's my Aunty Claire and I on the cover of a Spanish newspaper last week after we were rescued by Firemen when Paps' house flooded.
It was a bit scary and poor Paps and Maria's house is ruined :-(

Move over Lady GaGa, it's Lady CharChar ...

It doesn't matter if you're black of white ...

The whole world seems to be going into Michael Jackson overload with the death of the singer who was supposed to be really really famous.
I don't know him but I know Mummy and Daddy did so here's my tribute - me in black and white.

We've just had a lovely weekend up in Nottinghamshire with Uncle Lenny and Aunty Michelle. It so hot and we went on a three hour walk - Uncle Lenny had to carry me home, I was so tired.
Only a few more weeks to go until the end of the school year. I am looking forward to being at home with Mummy and Daddy and doing lots of cool stuff. We're also off to Spain in September for a couple of weeks to see Paps and go to his wedding.
So much going on - just the way I like it!

Hope you're all well.

Jai Hoh!

I had a fancy dress party to attend this weekend so thanks to the wonderful gift from Aunty M, I was able to go as a cross between an Indian Princess and Aladdin. What do you think? Those pesky Pussycat Dolls have nothing on me!

Happy Birthday to me now I am three ...

Hi everyone,
Thanks so much for all the birthday cards, presents and good wished on my third birthday. I had a wonderful day and THE BEST party ever.
Thanks to Aunty M and Suki for coming all the way from London to do facepainting on all my friends - and for all the great pressies.
Thanks too, to Uncle Lenny and Aunty Michelle who came down from Nottingham just for the party. They brought heaps of food and got me a pink guitar! I'm hoping Daddy and Uncle Lenny can teach me how to play that when I am a bit bigger.

Thanks to all my other Aunties and Uncles, friends, family and of course my Paps for all my presents, but most of all thank you to my Mummy and my Daddy for my Dora The Explorer scooter. I love it so much I refused to go to school on Friday because I couldn't take it on the school trip with me. I am silly!
Anyway, it's been a huge weekend - I'm off for a nap.

I'm not the only Charlotte ...

I love going to school - I get to play with the children and I get to learn all kinds of things. What I have learned is that I am not the only Charlotte. There is another Charlotte in my school but she is a big girl - I think she is nearly five.
So they have to call me Charlotte Gould so I know they mean me.
