Spot the difference ...

I know I am a true Eichman in the way I look and the way I am, but I do look like my mummy too. We found this picture of Mummy taken in 1979 and she's wearing the same outfit as me!!!

I love my swimming lessons ...

Do you know about Jesus?

I have loved the last week of term as we have been learning about what Easter really means and all about Jesus.

My teacher gave me a booklet to take home and on the last page of the book there was a drawing of him on the cross.
I showed it to my Mummy when I got home and I told her that it was incredibly because when Jesus was on the cross, all he was wearing was his pants and a beard.

(Aunty Claire has been telling people about this all week and thinks it is the funniest thing she has heard in ages)

We are family, I've got all my Aunties with me (and my mummy)

Well, not quite ALL my Aunties ...

'The changing guards at Buckingham Palace ... '

Hi everyone,
I've just finished school for the holidays and it has been lots of fun.

The Coldstream Guards came to school last week and they brough outfits for me and my friends to dress up in.

Apparently the man who started the Coldstream Guards is from Merton — the village I live in, and they will be marching through our main street to honour him.
And guess what! My class will be marching with them!!!

I'd better get my marching boots on.

I'm very excited about the Royal Wedding too. I'm not sure about who is involved but I know it's Buckingham Palace and someone called William and a lady called Kate who is becoming a princess. It's just like my favourite Disney movies.

Little Pet Shop collection ...

I'm crazy about the Little Pet Shop characters. It all started when my cousin Maggie showed me her collection when I was in California and I thought they were great.

I save my pocket money to buy them now, and here's me with some of my latest right after I face-planted myself at my Uncle Lenny and Aunty Michelle's house.
The scar above my eye has gone now, you'll be happy to know ...

Me and my Mummy and Daddy ...

Meet Ka-Ka ...

Ka-Ka lives in Thailand and she was my best friend when I was there. We played on the beach all day every day using my inflatable turtle to bring seaweed to the shore and then back again.

I'm not sure she understood English and I know very little Thai but we had a fantastic time. I hope she's having a good time without me ...
I hope to see her again one day.

The ride of our lives ...

I know I'm back in cold old Devon but the memories of our Round The World Adventure are living on.
Here's Mummy, Daddy and I having some elephant fun at Koh Chang.

I've just been asked by my teacher at school to do a drawing of the best holiday I ever had. I have told Mummy I am going to do it about the last half term I had when I went to see 'Tangled' ...

Candid camera ...

Miss Sparkles

We did a bit of travelling when were in Australia and one of those places was to the Central Coast.
We hired a couple of holiday houses that were pet friendly so little Elvie could come too and spent our days on the beach swimming, digging and playing.

The beaches were beautiful and I got to see lots and lots of birds and other wildlife, as well as ride my scooter everywhere. Fun times.

Living it up on the Gold Coast ...

As part of our time in Australia, Mummy, Daddy, Aunty Claire and I had a quick week up in Queensland.
We had to go on an aeroplane to get there which was lots of fun and we stayed in a place that had a fantastic lagoon pool. I made lots of friends and would have played in the water all day.

Mummy and Daddy had surf lessons, I made lots of fairy houses on the beach and learned how to sit in the shallows and let the waves move me along the beach. It was so much fun.
We went to the water park Wet and Wild one day (thanks Aunty Marie and Uncle Andy) which was fantastic, and I learned how to play Crazy Golf.
It was a proper holiday - within a holiday!
I LOVE Australia!!!
Lots of love,
Char xxx

Newcastle and the Hunter Valley

This was a daytrip, but oh my goodness what a day trip. We got up super early and drove up to my Uncle Andy and Aunty Marie's house in Newcastle. I hadn't met them before but was looking forward to it. Anyway when we got there they took us out on their boat and let me drive! Can you believe it? Me - driving a boat in Australia. We had a fantastic time on the lake then sailed to the yacht club for lunch. I loved it so much and loved them and wanted to stay for days but we had tickets to go to a concert at a winery that night to see two bands called Blondie and The Pretenders so we had to head off for that. The concert was fantastic - the weather was lovely and I really really liked the music. What a fantastic day! Here's me dancing at the gig xxx

Pearl beach

We all went up the coast for a few days - Mummy, daddy, Aunty Claire, Elvis and I to a beach house. It was such a quiet little village - with just three shops and five streets and no traffic.

I got to ride my scooter in the street, build fairy houses on the beach and swim in the sea.
I did have a slight mishap when I got a splinter in my foot and had to go to the doctors but splinter aside, we had a fantastic long weekend at Pearl Beach and I met some nice girls in the park.

It was full of wildlife and I got to get up-close to bush turkeys (gobble gobble!) and cockatoos as well as kookaburrahs and laurekettes.
It was fantastic :-)

Happy snaps ... say cheese and marmite sandwiches!

Hanging out with mummy ...

Sydney even has a ferry named after me ...

"I love Australia' - anything Oprah can do ...

Everyone's favourite vegetarian - I've finally found a vegetable I actually like!

Oh wow, everything is in 3D ...

Dancing for the locals at Sydney Harbour ...

What can I tell you? Gloria Estefan was right - the rhythm is going to get you. Check out my dancing to the digeridoo in Sydney ... I really am the ultimate Dancing Queen :-)

What an adventure!

Hi all,
It's been non-stop in Australia these last six weeks. My Aunty Claire has had us doing all kinds of things and I am now in Thailand trying to relax before we head for home and I have to start school.

I'll try to give you some brief updates so you know what I got up to, but I hope that you all had a very Happy Christmas.
Much love,
Char
