I heart school

I've really been enjoying school recently. I've made some lovely friends and I may or may not have a couple of boyfriends on the go! Mummy told me that there is to be no kissing but I think it might be a little bit late for that . . . kissing on the cheek I mean :) I love learning and reading and loved dressing up as a Princess for World Book Day last week. I loved going to school as a princess. I have been winning awards at school. The big one was from the headmistress for being helpful, and I got one a couple of weeks back ago which was voted for by the people in my whole school. I got an award for being kind. I'm happy to take the awards - I love to be the centre of attention - but I'm just being me! I hope you have a lovely Easter. I love you, goodbye! Love, Charlotte xxx

On my travels part two: Spain

Mummy, Daddy and I needed some winter sun so we popped over to Spain in my February school holidays to see Paps and Maria.
I've not been there for aged so it was nice to run around the back garden and remember things from when I was smaller.
Paps and I went for walks in the woods with his dog Jackson. We had lots of long talks - he's a real chatterbox!
He read me a story every night and looked after me when Daddy, Mummy and Maria went out for the evening to play bingo. Daddy won lots of euros!
We went to Mummy and Daddy's favourite Indian restaurant The Spice Hut. I liked the big crisps called pappadums. It was a lovely break :)

On my travels part one - Scotland

Hi everyone, I hope you're all well and that those of you in the Northern Hemisphere have not suffered so much this winter. Yep - I know what hemispheres are. I got a globe for Christmas. It seemed fitting when you consider how much I have travelled in the last (almost) seven years. Mummy, Daddy and I went away for a weekend last month, up to Scotland. Daddy had booked it as a wedding anniversary present for Mummy and I got to go too. We went to the capital of Scotland which is called Edinburgh. They have a castle there and lots of things to do with war and soldiers. I loved it. It turned out that Daddy had booked a hotel in a place called Musselburgh which is where my Great Nana Ann was from. I didn't even know that!! While we were in Scotland we went to this hidden town underneath the ground. We had to wear hard hats so we didn't bang our heads but it was super exciting and I really really loved it. It was a brilliant adventure.

So that was 2012

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and that Santa was good to you.
I got so much stuff . Thank you so much everyone.
Santa brought me the biggest Barbie house I have EVER seen and I even got a tablet to play games on.
It was just Mummy, Daddy and I and we had a lovely day. I hope you did too.
Anyway I hope you have a brilliant new year and that 2013 is good to you. It is the year I turn seven!
I love you, goodbye!

We are family . . .

Our happy holiday snaps :)

Mummy, Daddy and I at the pyramids

Me finding Nemo on the glass bottom boat trip

Daddy and I trying to climb the pyramids
I LOVED my holiday :)

Continuing my jet-set life . . .

Hello again, As I said in my last post, Mummy and Daddy and I have just come back from a fantastic holiday to . . . EGYPT!!!
It was lovely and warm and we had so much fun. It was great for us to hang out the three of us as we have all been so busy this year with one thing and another.

We stayed in a hotel that looked like a castle. We went out on a glass bottom boat and went snorkelling. I saw so many fish - it was just like Finding Nemo!

I went to a papyrus factory - that is paper to those not in the know. It was so interesting I loved it and I learned so much.

We went quad biking in the desert - and we had to wear scarves on our faces so we didn't get sand up our nose or in our mouths.

I even got to ride a camel with Mummy which was so much fun but a bit bumpy.

And then we went to Cairo for the day to see the pyramids. Egypt has lots of pyramids and these were built by the Pharaoes. I really really wanted to climb to top of them and I did try but there are gigantic. Much bigger than me.

I went into a museum in Cairo and saw the gold and blue mask of King Tutankhamun. I really really loved it.

I also learned to swim when I was in Egypt. I swam in the hotel pool and mummy made a deal that if I swam across the pool she would buy me an iPad. And I DID IT!!! Woohoo. We had the best holiday ever and do you know what? It's nearly Chrismas!

I love you!
Goodbye!

So, where have I been???

Hello everyone! I know it has been a while. What can I tell you . . . life has been very hectic for all of us and I have neglected this blog.
But What I can also tell you is that I have been up to all kinds of stuff since I last updated you.
So let me start with the basics: * I am now six and a half
* We moved from Devon to Lincoln last year
* I LOVE school and learning
* Both of my front teeth have fallen out
* I am learning Judo
* I have a my very own trampoline in the back garden
* We went camping this year and i loved it
* I love going to Sherwood Forest to walk my dog, Zeus
* My Paps and Maria came from Spain to see me in the summer and we watched the Olympics together
* I really really liked the Olympics
* I went to see Jesus Christ Superstar with Mummy in Manchester and now I can't stop singing the songs. I sing them all the time.
* Mummy, Daddy and I went on a big holiday and only got back last week. I will tell you more about it in my next post. It was fantastic.

I hope that kind-of brings you up to date. I have a new school photo that I will need to get Mummy to scan in for me to show you.

I heart little Wren ...

Just call me gappy ...

It had to happen sooner or later - I've lost my first tooth!
I was in Asda at the time and I did actually lose it. Mummy and Daddy spent ages on their hands and knees in the fruit and vegetable section trying to find it but it must have been kicked under a display - or maybe I swallowed it!!!
Anyway, the tooth fairy came and left me some Barbie clothes. How lucky am I!
I wonder if it was Tinkerbelle ...

I'd love to be a princess ...

Ice, ice baby

Mummy, Daddy and I had a bit of time with Uncle Lenny and Aunty Michelle at the start of the school holidays.
Wehad a little bit of time to relax with ice lollies but the rest of the time was spent looking at houses.
Mummy, Daddy and I are moving up to Lincolnshire in the next few weeks as my very clever mummy has got a new job.
I am going to start a new school and have a new house with a big garden. There is even talk of a rabbit, too!
And the best thing of all ... it's super close to Uncle Lenny and Aunty Michelle.
Yay!
It's all very exciting :0)

I love a man in uniform ...

Hot on the heels of my appearance in a Busby, here's my class with the guards!

I am FIVE

Hi everyone,
Hope you're all having a lovely summer.
So sorry for not being good at updating this - but I've just been so busy. Life moves pretty fast when you are five!

Anyway I had my fifth birthday in June and had a joint party with Rosie, a girl in my class at school.
We had a clown to entertain and frighten the kids - he even made balloon animals.
There were 30 of us running around like lunatics!

I got so much stuff for my Little Pet Shop and Barbie collections. Thanks so much to all of you for your presents. I was well and truly spoiled and had a fantastic time.

I heart my Uncle Lenny and Aunty Michelle ...

I had a very happy Easter ...

I had a fantastic Easter break. Mummy, Daddy and I spent the actual Easter break with Uncle Lenny and Aunty Michelle. We had a fantastic time - they organised an easter egg hunt for me and everything!!

Before I was in Lincolnshire Mummy and Daddy had me at all kinds of activities and I loved athletics and archery the most. Look at me firing a bow and arrow. I managed to get a bullseye too!!!

And Mummy and I had a few days with Paps and Maria in Spain. It was lovely to see them both. Paps looked after me for a night and I made him watch Tinkerbelle with me. I think he enjoyed it more than he was letting on!!!
It was lovely to have a bit of sunshine and to go to the beach. It reminded me of my holiday in Thailand at the start of the year. Sigh ...

Hope you had a happy easter too!

I heart the school holidays ...

Spot the difference ...

I know I am a true Eichman in the way I look and the way I am, but I do look like my mummy too. We found this picture of Mummy taken in 1979 and she's wearing the same outfit as me!!!
